Privacy Policy
Last updated · 2026-04-26
This policy explains what information Dotsight, Inc. (“Dotsight,” “we,” “us”) collects through dotsight.ai(the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. The Site is currently a pre-launch marketing page for an upcoming live production platform; it does not yet host the product itself.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you submit the waitlist form, we collect your name, email address, role, optionally your company, and an optional short note describing what you hope the product will solve. The form also contains a hidden field intended to filter automated submissions; any value entered there is discarded immediately and never recorded.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our hosting provider records standard server logs (request IP address, timestamp, user-agent, response status) for the operational and security purposes described below. We use Vercel’s privacy-friendly analytics to aggregate page views and referrers; this service uses no cookies, performs no cross-site tracking, and does not link views to identifiable individuals.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies, behavioral trackers, or session-replay tools.
2. How we use your information
We use the information you provide to confirm your waitlist signup, to notify you when the product becomes available, and to share occasional updates about the private preview. We use the technical information described above to operate the Site, monitor performance, and detect and prevent abuse.
3. Sub-processors
We rely on a small number of established service providers to operate the Site. They process your information on our behalf, under contract, and only for the purposes described.
| Provider | Purpose | Data shared |
|---|---|---|
| Google Workspace | Sending and receiving waitlist email; storing submissions in the founders’ Workspace inbox | Name, email address, role, company, note |
| Vercel | Hosting the Site, serving the API, server logs, privacy-friendly analytics | HTTP request metadata; aggregated, non-identifying page views |
| Namecheap | Domain registration and DNS resolution | None beyond what is required to resolve the domain |
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing vendors.
4. Data retention
Waitlist submissions remain in the founders’ Google Workspace inbox until you ask us to delete them, or until ninety (90) days after the public launch of the product, whichever comes first. Server logs from our hosting provider are retained for thirty (30) days. Aggregate analytics data is retained on a rolling twelve-month basis and contains no personally identifiable information.
5. Your rights
You may at any time request a copy of the data we hold about you, request its deletion, or correct inaccurate information by emailing info@dotsight.ai. We respond to verified requests within seven (7) business days.
If you reside in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA respectively, including the right to data portability, the right to object to certain processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
6. Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed at children under sixteen (16), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
7. International transfers
Dotsight, Inc. is incorporated in the United States, and the service providers listed above are headquartered in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed there. Where required by applicable law, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses for cross-border transfers.
8. Security
All traffic to and from the Site is encrypted in transit using TLS. Our service providers maintain industry-standard security practices including encryption at rest and access controls; we follow the principle of least privilege for production access. We do not store payment information. No transmission method is entirely secure, but we work continuously to reduce risk and respond promptly to security issues.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Site or product evolves. Material changes will be indicated by a revised “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If you are on the waitlist at the time of a material change, we will notify you by email.
